Curbside Pickup FAQ

The library is currently offering curbside pickup services, Monday through Thursday from 12 pm to 6 pm. Here is how it works:

• REQUEST – Use the online catalog or mobile app to place requests on the materials you want. You can also call the library at 313-381-0374 to request items.

• READY FOR PICKUP – Wait until you receive an email, automated phone call or text confirmation that your materials are ready.

• NOTIFY – Notify at the library at least 10 minutes in advance of pickup by calling 313-381-0374.

• PICK UP – Contact us when you arrive to pick up your materials.  To ensure contactless delivery, please remain in your vehicle.

• ENJOY – Read your books and enjoy your movies.  Check your date due slip and/or your account to confirm due dates.  Renew materials as needed, either online or by phone.

• RETURN – Return items to the library’s drop slot, which is located in the back of the building. There is a sign saying "library book drop" above the library drop slot.
